Winter is the most horrible time of the year when it comes to your skin. Dry, cracked hands make it difficult to do pretty much anything. A new favorite of mine for dealing with the effects of cold weather and frequent H1N1 avoidance hand washings is Aveda Hand Relief. This moisturizer has hydrating plant emollients, humectants, exfoliating fruit acids and anti-oxidants to smooth out your hands. I noticed a positive difference within a few days of use. Hand Relief is supposed to also diminish signs of aging, but it’s too soon for me to weigh in on that after a few weeks. I just know that my hands feel better. The pleasant smell is a delightfully botanical one, and it’s not overly greasy. If you’re looking to change up your hand routine, this is definitely worth a shot.
